Former “Dancing with the Stars” contestant Michael Catherwood, aka Psycho Mike, analyzes the life of his “Loveline” co-host Dr. Drew in this entertaining video clip.
When asked what it’s like working with Drew, Mike had a lot to say.
“It's not very good for my lady situation, because every time there's an attractive female guest that comes in and I try to spit game, they're bewildered by Dr. Drew,” he said.
Although, the interview has many laughable moments, Mike says he admires what Dr. Drew does for people everyday.
“He has such a deep-seated, veritable passion for making sure that people who want to help themselves get clean, have all the knowledge and the ability to do so,” he explained.
Hear much more from Psycho Mike on Dr. Drew’s HLN special airing at 6 p.m. this Sunday, April 3 on HLN.
Did you know that Dr. Drew is a trained opera singer? That’s right, not an opera fan, but an opera singer!
He’s a baritone and took voice lessons for many years. Drew said, at times, he would drift away from his science training in college and truly thought he was going to be an opera singer.
“I love arts and I love humanities … so I just indulge myself in it, and I try to take all those facets and use them to apply to my understanding of the human experience,” he explained.

“I think he uses the internet, like Facebook and stuff, more than the three of us combined,” his daughter Paulina said.
“People say that he 'Twitters' too much and he's trying to get attention ... and I guess that's kind of true,” his wife Susan said while laughing.
Dr. Drew later explained to Morning Express’ Robin Meade that if he doesn’t check his messages constantly, he gets too far behind.

“Envy is the most destructive of human emotions,” Dr. Drew says during his upcoming HLN special. “We are enjoying and getting gratified by looking at someone else's demise. That is not so pretty.”
“Isn't that what ‘Celebrity Rehab’ is?” Robin Meade asks.
“No. “Celebrity Rehab “… it's the exact opposite … we're going to push you the viewer's face to the mirror and hear about what made that person do that … the pain they're dealing with, and if you were in that position you'd be making some of those same choices.”
Hear more on this compelling subject matter in the video clip above and during Dr. Drew’s HLN special that airs every hour from 6 p.m. ET to 6 a.m. ET this Sunday, April 3.
Dr. Drew had been criticized recently for diagnosing people he has watched on TV.
In tonight's show, he'll address that very issue.
“People ask me, and I'm confused by it," Dr. Drew said. "How come you can make political commentary, you can make weather commentary, but if you know something about human behavior and medicine, you can't make medical commentary?”
Dr. Drew furthered his point by saying: “I could be sitting here with you, or reading about it – I can tell [you] what that is. Now I don't know the details about it, I don't know psychologically or the social functioning is of it, but I can look at a medical problem and say, 'I know what that is.' It's pretty easy.”
Watch the the show's premiere tonight at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
